Best DonutSMP Base Designs of 2026
The defensive layouts, hidden vaults and compact bunkers that are surviving raids on DonutSMP this season.
A good DonutSMP base does three things: hides your loot, slows attackers down and gives you a way out. The bases that survive raids in 2026 lean hard on obsidian boxes, hidden ender chest rooms and modular vaults you can swap out after every wipe. Here are the designs the community keeps coming back to.
1. The Obsidian Cube
The classic. A 7×7×7 obsidian shell with crying obsidian corners, a single piston door and a respawn anchor inside. Cheap to rebuild, near-impossible to crystal through, and the schematic version on the library includes the wiring pre-built.
2. Sky Bunker
Built at Y=300 with an ender pearl stasis chamber for re-entry. Visible from far away but unreachable without elytra and rockets, and the landing pad is trapped. Great for solo players who want storage they don't have to defend in real time.
3. Bedrock-Roof Vault
Carved directly under the bedrock ceiling of the Nether roof. Only one safe entrance, and any attacker who mis-pearls falls into lava. Pair it with the Nether highway schematic for fast access from spawn.
4. Modular Storage Bunker
A 16×16 underground room with rows of double chests, sorted by item category and a dropper-based item sorter feeding everything. Designed to be cloned, if it gets raided you paste a fresh copy in a new chunk and move on.
5. Decoy Base
A visible "real-looking" base with a few diamond blocks and chests full of cobblestone, built two thousand blocks away from your actual storage. Costs almost nothing and burns the raiders' time. Pairs perfectly with the Obsidian Cube.
What makes a base survive on DonutSMP
- Distance from spawn, most raids never make it past 5k blocks out.
- Multiple bases instead of one mega-base.
- Ender chest backups of your top-tier gear at all times.
- No straight tunnels to your front door.
All five designs are available as ready-to-paste schematics in the Base category. Each one ships with a block list and Auction House price estimate so you know exactly what it costs to rebuild after a wipe.
