DonutSMP Seed: What We Know and How to Find Coordinates

"What seed is DonutSMP?" is one of the most searched DonutSMP questions, usually by people hunting stashes or trying to build a replica world. Here's an honest answer, plus what actually works instead.

Is the DonutSMP seed public?

No confirmed seed has ever been published by the DonutSMP staff, and any site claiming to sell you "the" seed is guessing. Treat every number you find on TikTok or a random forum as unverified.

Even a correct seed would only get you part of the way. The world border has been expanded several times, chunks have been generated across different versions, and large areas have been terraformed by players, so terrain in the old spawn region no longer matches vanilla generation from any seed.

Why players want the seed anyway

  • Stash hunting: knowing where natural caves, ravines and ocean monuments are makes it faster to find hidden bases.
  • Farm placement: finding a mushroom island, a warm ocean or a mansion for a specific farm.
  • Replica worlds: generating the same terrain locally to rebuild spawn or a famous base.

What works instead of a seed

  1. Use in-game coordinates (F3) and write down every route you take. Most stash finds come from tracking players, not terrain.
  2. Look for man-made tells: a single misplaced block, a stripped log, unnatural gravel, water sources at odd heights, or lit caves.
  3. Follow highways and nether portals outward, then sweep perpendicular, most people stash within a few hundred blocks of a travel line.
  4. For a replica world, generate any 1.21 seed you like and paste the builds you want. The terrain matters far less than the builds do.

Hide your own base against seed-hunters

The flip side: assume other players are doing all of the above. The stash designs in this library are built specifically to survive that, no surface entrance, no lighting leaks, no straight tunnels leading to a door.
